Pendulum Utility Device

This application is a scientific instrument used to determine the properties properties of a pendulum. By utilizing the proximity sensor located at the top of the phone, this application can measure the period of a pendulum, and by using the equation for the period of a pendulum, other quantities such as length and angular velocity can be determined. Due to its portability, accuracy, and speed, the application is an ideal alternative to other means of measurement and can be used in scientific labs.
